Judy Auber Jahnel grew up on the coast of Connecticut and has enjoyed painting in oils and watercolors throughout her life.
While living in Germany and then later in France, she painted her life and travels there: The mountains and farmlands of Bavaria, the rolling green expanses of Alsace, and the vineyards and olive trees of Provence.
Her next moves, brought her to the North Shore of Long Island and now, most recently, to New England. She is once again living in Connecticut, painting more seascapes from her new home there and on Block Island.
